Honor to serve the good ole’ outdoors for Tom Webster the other day on Big Toho Lake. The charter fishing adventure he experienced served-up some of best Pickerel fishing of the year with many in the 2-3 pound range. Tom spent his time searching for those “Hawg” Bass using spinners, swim jig, worms and frog. It was a “notta” on the top water bite as post spawn/front happened just before this charter. By nature, Tom is a small mouth fisherman from Alma New Brunswick Canada. Flipping and Pitching into the lily pads was new (were the big ones hang-out) so we set about locating bass and improving techniques that the fish liked using soft plastic worms and creature baits. We shared our stories for a full day and could have cruised an additional day-out since interesting enough, Tom is First Mate on the Thankful Too — a 58 ft. Ship that supplies a great deal of Lobsters and Scallops here in the U.S. A solid fishermen and adventure, Tom has extreme stamina, an eye for the outdoors, and the lust for next lunker bass excursion.
Note: Thankful Too is one of several ships owned and operated from a family owned business who offer many venues to the public. You can visit them at a Alama Lobster Shop, or Fishing Charters, and Site Seeing adventures in Alma Harbor. thankfultoo.com/alma
