Bass fishing trip questions

A person holding a large bass fish on a Florida lake
What techniques do you use?

Drifting
Quietly floating along with the current allows us to stealthily target bass in their natural habitat. I use specialized drift socks for precision boat control.

Spinning
With light spinning tackle, we can precision-cast to bass cover and structure with finesse lures and plastics for high action.

Trolling
Trolling with crank baits, live bait or other lures allows us to efficiently cover water to find where bass are active. Multiple rods help identify productive patterns.

Light & Heavy Tackle
The choice of light or heavy tackle is tailored to the technique and size of the bass being targeted that day.

What if it rains?

Capt. Paul assures every client that the fishing will be fantastic, rain or shine! Weather won’t stop us from hitting the water as planned, and a little rain never scares off the bass. To keep you comfortable, I provide high-quality rain suits, so you can stay dry and enjoy the adventure regardless of the conditions.

Do you provide transportation?

Capt. Paul provides free pick-up and drop-off within 5 miles of boat ramp.

Do I need fishing experience?

All experience levels are welcome aboard! Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a complete beginner, the charter is designed to provide an unforgettable fishing experience for everyone.

What is the passenger capacity?

This charter is tailored for private fishing trips, comfortably accommodating up to 4 passengers, ensuring a personalized and enjoyable experience on the water.

When is the best time to fish in Orlando?

The prime time for bass fishing in Orlando is November through Mid-May. The cooler weather has the largemouth bass more active and feeding aggressively to fatten up for winter.

What if I encounter a language barrier or have a communication disability?

With experience working with interpreters in the military, language barriers won’t stand in the way of having a great time. Demonstration is often the best approach. For any specific needs, call to discuss accommodations. If the necessary support isn’t available, a referral to another guide can be provided.

Do you provide lunch?

Lunch is not included in the price, but arrangements can be made if needed. Most meeting locations are conveniently located near restaurants and stores. However, the best option is to maximize your fishing time by bringing snacks for your group.
