Terry and Andrew visiting from Maryland got on board to hunt for lunker bass on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes, 23 FEB 17. The strategy chosen was artificial lures thrown in Kissimmee Grass and pads by two seasoned east coast tidal water fishermen. Having Georgia roots and years of fishing (BFL, All America), Terry wasted no time in displaying his skill by finding bass just beneath the surface–pitching his bait accurately in the hyacinth and lily pads. He even plucked one male bass off a bed. Success catching bass was met several times throughout the full day excursion and the weather cooperated once again in sunny Florida (post frontal conditions).
