Jason and Jeremy hooked-up with PS Bass Guide Service while vacationing at Disney. Their fishing preference was artificial Baits to catch Florida Strain largemouth Bass on Big Lake Toho. Wasn’t long until each started getting bites and evident the fish were a little lethargic. We ran swim Baits over the mats, pads, and grass; swam plastic worms and flipped Texas Rigged and Wacky style worms around reeds; and made adjustments in retrieve speed, color selection, and sizes. The Bass just wasn’t liking calm waters (no wind) and lake draw down in areas productive just a day before.
Both of these men were avid fishermen from Kentucky and experienced in the ways of catching Bass. Having never fished down here around the many types of vegetation, we shared the many ways to penetrate the cover were the Bass hide and techniques to fool them into biting.
It was a pleasure taking these gentlemen out for some fishing and look forward to their return. Thanks 🤙🏼🎣🗽
